From the Bulgarian monastery in Mount Athos "St. George Zograf", on the peninsula of Mount Athos, Greece contacted us about the need of the monastery for a fire extinguishing system with the characteristics of Shumcar. We responded to the request for help and made a donation for the Bulgarian monastery. In the week before Easter, in the factory for production of specialized superstructures of Avto Engineering Holding Group, the production of the jubilee, 100th Shumcar forest fire extinguishing system started, which in May will be donated to the Bulgarian monastery "St. George Zograf " in the monastic republic of Mount Athos, Mount Athos peninsula, Greece. The Shumcar high-pressure fire extinguishing system was developed by the design bureau of Avto Engineering and in the last 5 years has gain the reputation of a reliable technical system for fighting field and forest summer fires. After the delivery of 2 firefighting vehicles and a Trailer pump unit in the past years the Nuclear Power Plant Kozloduy chose again solutions from Avto Engineering! This time Avto Engineering delivered suction hoses together with Kindswater. In cooperation with our German long-term partner - leader in the production of innovative fire protection technologies, we provided the solution for Kozloduy NPP which is the largest producer of electricity in Bulgaria. Over the years, Avto Engineering has delivered Industrial fire trucks designed to protect Kozloduy NPP by their own fire departments. Another delivery for the plant was a Container-type portable motor pumps, designed for water supply of fire trucks from remote water sources: rivers, lakes and seas.

Avto Engineering Holding Group launched the implementation of project “Cutting Precision for Environmental Provision” supported by a grant from Norway through the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, in the frame of Programme Area 01 – Business Development, Innovation and SMEs.” The overall objective of the project is to increase the capacities of our overall operations through the purchase of innovative fiber laser cutting equipment which is the latest and the most effective in terms of technology used available on the market in 2021. Our expectations are that it will contribute by at least 38% (if comparing with the COVID-19 crisis year 2020) for the increase of our turnover and by 10% if compering with our peak year 2019. Today, 9 out of a total of 13 new vehicles for "Trolleybus Transport" arrived, the Municipality of Vratsa announced. The delivery of 4 more electric buses, as well as charging stations is forthcoming. The "Golden Dragon" vehicles are 12 meters long, with two double doors and 80 places / sitting and standing /. The electric buses are equipped with the most modern air conditioning and ventilation system, with information boards and accessibility for people with special needs. The vehicles have wireless internet and video surveillance. The renovation of the public transport in Vratsa is realized within the project won by the Municipality under OP “Environment”. Learn more..
